Career highlight: Being invited by Health Canada to lecture their regulators about cannabis testing to help shape their emerging adult-use market regulations.
Lesson learned: You can’t be too sure of being accurate in your analysis. And you should never count on money that isn’t in your hands.
Where is the field heading? Analysis will become more complex and more specifically geared towards hunting for new molecules. Work will be aimed towards characterizing currently unknown compounds and elucidating the structure of rare and minor constituents of the plant.
